Market of Choice is looking for a Hiring Coordinator to join our Corporate HR Team! What to expect:

This is a salaried career position. We are working on scaling our HR function to better meet the needs of a growing organization, and there are days when long hours are required to get the job done. You need to be flexible and adaptable, understand your teammates' jobs, and pitch in when needed.

As a member of the Corporate HR team, you will report to the head of HR. Some of your job duties may include:

  • Management of the hiring processes; recruit and assist in employee selection
  • Implement and manage HR training programs to store level HR Assistants
  • Oversee internal Management Training Program
  • Support in performance management
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and support new employee orientations
  • Process unemployment information and employment verifications
  • Write evaluations and conduct evaluation audits
  • Enforce company policies
  • Provide administrative office support for the Corporate HR team
  • Provide back-up and support in other areas of HR as needed
  • Manage personnel files
  • Maintain superior customer relations and contributing to the overall operation of the stores

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires:

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and verbal, and written communication skills are a must
  • Advanced Computer skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and ability to apply logic to computer-based systems
  • Eagerness to grow personally and professionally
  • Ability to represent our values and promote a positive culture for our 1,400 teammates

  • Confidence in decision-making
  • Ability and desire to work in a team environment
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to apply knowledge and experience gained to improve the MOC hiring function and related areas

Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in applicant screening, interviewing, public speaking, and writing, and/or general administrative office experience.
