What Can I Expect?

This is a salaried career position. We are working on scaling our HR function to better meet the needs of a growing organization, and there are days where long hours are required to get the job done. You need to be flexible and adaptable, understand your teammates' jobs and pitch in when needed.

As a member of the Corporate HR team, you will report to the head of HR. Some of your job duties may include:

  • Manage the hiring function for all Market of Choice locations
  • Facilitate and support new employee orientations
  • Recruit and select entry-level, management, and Corporate-level teammates
  • Oversee HR and management training programs
  • Develop, implement and enforce processes, policies, and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain records, SOPs and job descriptions
  • Oversee and implement performance management systems
  • Manage personnel files
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Maintain superior customer relations and contributing to the overall operation of the stores

Here's what we'll need from you (Job Requirements):

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Advanced Computer skills including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and ability to apply logic to computer-based systems
  • Eagerness to grow personally and professionally
  • Ability to represent our values and promote a positive culture for our 1,400 teammates
  • Great public relations skills
  • Confidence in decision-making
  • Ability and desire to work in a team environment
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to apply knowledge and experience gained to improve the MOC hiring function and related areas

Icing on the cake (Preferred Qualifications):

  • A strong background in recruiting, interviewing, administrative office experience and public speaking
  • A strong background in coaching, development and supporting retail operations.
  • Experience managing complex projects and delegating tasks
  • Experience with talent management and teammate retention strategies
